We picked this Hilka brush for the way its fine tapered synthetic filaments pick up and lay off water based coatings, so every Protek stain, paint, and preserver goes on smoothly. The oval wooden handle stays comfortable through a long afternoon on the fence.
Four widths cover every job. Use the 1 inch and 2 inch for window frames, trellis, and cutting in, and the 3 inch and 4 inch for cladding, sheds, and decking boards.

Once you have finished, wipe off the excess, wash in warm soapy water, rinse, and let it dry fully before you put it away.
This is by far the best coating I have used for sheds. Goes on lovely and protects the wood well. I used it on a 20fy x 10ft apex roof shed and still had enough left for a second coat! Amazing stuff. I used to build sheds and install them for a living and I have tried many different products. Will definitely use again.
