Protek’s 7 Star (former name Shed 7 Star) is a water-based, low toxic wood protection that is used and recommended by the industry for treating sheds and prepared timber of all types. Only ingredients of the highest quality are used which give good light fastness and weather resistance after initial drying has taken place. Protek 7 Star is used by the industry as a base coat treatment. It is recommended that this product is retreated with a water-proof top coat within 6 months. Protek 7 Star is supplied as a 7:1 concentrated solution, which dilutes 7 parts water to 1 part Protek. This product is available in 25 litre drums or 1000 litre intermediate bulk containers (IBC’s). Only ingredients of the highest quality are used which give good light fastness and weather resistance after initial drying has taken place. Protek Premium is a waterproof coating, to maintain this quality it is recommended that this product is retreated with a top coat within 12 months. Protek Premium is supplied as a 4:1 concentrated solution, which dilutes 4 parts water to 1 part Protek. A LOW COST TREATMENT FOR FENCING. Whilst maintaining the high standard of the PROTEK brand we supply an economical colourant for fencing. A highly concentrated coloured coating for rough sawn timbers (contains no preservative). Ideal product for colouring pressure treated timbers. Protek PR30 is available in a range of standard colours, which include: DARK BROWN, GOLDEN BROWN, TEAK and a PALE GREEN to match pressure treated timbers. Each 20-litre container will make a total of 600-litres ready to use solution. -
Protek Pallet Paints offers excellent value, a highly concentrated non-toxic, low VOC, economical water based paint for all pallet and packaging situations. Only raw materials of the highest quality are used in the manufacture of Protek Pallet Paint. This gives excellent light fastness and weather resistance. Protek Pallet Paint is not considered or regulated as a hazardous product under national and International regulations and codes. Protek Pallet Paints are available in a range of standard colours, which include: YELLOW, GREEN, RED, ORANGE, BLUE AND BLACK. Protek Wood Preserver is a water-borne product based on modified vegetable oil. It contains active ingredients effective against wood destroying and wood discolouring fungi. Protek Wood Preserver penetrates wood easily and thereby gets deep into inner layers. It is moisture regulating and provides an adhesive surface for subsequent treatment with finishing paints (top coat). It acts against wood destroying and wood staining fungi (blue stain), according to EN152, EN113, EN73, EN84 and also conforms to EN71 parts 2 & 3 relating to child toy safety and flammability. After drying it is odourless. For use on all outside wood, which is not in direct contact to soil or surface water, e.g. cladding, fascias, windows (inner and outer parts), exterior doors (inner and outer parts), car ports, shutters, balcony railings and cut timber. -
Concentrated solution for colouring decorative wood chips Protek Wood Chip is a water-based, low odour, low toxic wood colourant that is used for colouring softwood wood chips for playground safety and landscaping. Only ingredients of the highest quality are used which give good light fastness and weather resistance after initial drying has taken place. Protek Wood Chip has an excellent penetrating and dispersing action, which gives even coverage and also makes it suitable for large scale spraying and dipping.
